Etsy is a greet place to find on of a kind items for your home.  I love organic and natural pieces of art.   These frames would look lovely in any home, just add a black and white photo.  I was also thinking about adding a mirror.  The link is attached.

Photo Inspiration

Inspiration can come from may different sources.  I use magazines and photos that I have taken.  In this photo I love the colors or lack or colors.  I like to mix different shades of white and this photo also has light yellows and pinks.  On the bottom of the page are some sketches for a pillow design based on this photo.  Will post the finish project once I get started.    

Ruffled Pillow and Character

I love adding pillows to every room in my home.  Pillows are a great way to express yourself and you can change them out threw out the year.  My hint is to keep the pillows the main fabrics in your room.  My over all rooms are tan and white so any color pillow will match my rooms.  Here is a great pillow that will add texture and romance to any room.

Green Pig

This is a cute idea to help save money and also look cute on your book case.  I first saw this item in the June 2010 issue of Real Simple.  I love simple unique things like this that can add personality to a room and is a great conversational piece.  This website is a fun place to purchase green items for friends and family and do not forget yourself.

Painting on Fabric

I just started to paint on fabric and I love it.  I played around a lot before I found a design that I like.  The key is how wet the fabric is that you are painting on.  The wetter the fabric the more the paint bleeds.  I use a small spray bottle and I just mist the fabric, then I use a tissue and lightly blot off and water sitting on the surface of the fabric.  Good Luck

  I bought the primary colors (red, blue, and yellow) so I can mix my own original colors but you can also buy a verity of other colors.  The brand I bought is called Dye-na-flow.  There is also a great book called Bend the rules with Fabric by Amy Karol.

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink with this gorgeous hand made clutch.  Ok so it is not finished yet but I just have to sew the pieces together on the sewing machine.  What do you think?  I think it is a mix between vintage meets modern.  I am hoping to make my whole collection have this feeling.  Which me luck.
